Leonardo Santiago
President & Founder

Leonardo Santiago is President and Founder of LMS Marketing & Communication, a leading boutique Public Relations and Digital Marketing firm. 


With extensive experience in professional soccer and motorsports, Santiago has played a major role in some of the sports’ most significant milestones over the past decade. From the record-breaking launch of Orlando City SC in MLS, to the $400 million renovation at Daytona International Speedway, Santiago was pivotal in developing the strategy behind their success.


Santiago holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, and Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He calls Central Florida home, with his wife Dena and daughter Lea Michelle – the inspiration behind LMS Marketing & Communication.

Jaime Thomas
Project Director

Jaime Thomas is the Project Director at LMS. She brings more than 10 years of experience in marketing communications, account management and events to the LMS team.


Thomas has over a decade of sports business experience, starting her career in motorsports at International Speedway Corporation. From there Thomas went to WME | IMG, working with 14 Midwest properties in collegiate athletics before managing the $4M+ hospitality program for Haas Automation within NASCAR. Most recently, Thomas consulted on COPA America Centenario, and executed several public relations events within the Smithfield Foods portfolio, including their Nathan’s Famous and Armour Meats brands.


Jaime is a graduate of the Ohio Dominican University and has a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Business Administration. She enjoys traveling, reading and being outdoors.

Brittany Alvarado
Video Producer

Brittany Alvarado is the Video Producer for LMS. Her past work spans both MLS and NWSL, most recently working with the Orlando Pride and Orlando City SC as a Content Manager. Alvarado is a passionate and creative story-teller, focused on making an impact on the audience and leaving a lasting impression. She has a deep love for the beautiful game.

Sergio Ruiz Torres
Hispanic Media Director

Sergio Ruiz, a Venezuelan journalist, is the Spanish “voice of the goal” for Orlando City SC since the team made its MLS debut in 2015. Over his 17-year career, Ruiz has covered many international tournaments including Copa América (2001, 2004, 2007, 2011 and 2016), Copa Libertadores (several times), Copa Sudamericana and the South American U20. Ruiz was also a sports anchor at Univision Orlando. Lastly, he served as communications chief for Mineros de Guayana of the professional Venezuelan soccer league, and Gigantes de Guayana of the Professional Basketball League.
