Last week, the first details of the fourth annual Florida Cup were confirmed by event officials and the caliber of clubs that have so far been announced is spectacular. 2018 will be the Year of Soccer, with the FIFA World Cup set to take place in Russia in June. But here in Florida, the excitement and passion of the world’s game will kick off in early January with Florida’s largest annual celebration of international soccer.

The Florida Cup will take place January 10 – 20, and feature eight of the world’s premier clubs from Europe and South America, including several international stars who play in Russia.

The Florida Cup will unveil its participating clubs via social media at the tournament’s Facebook account over the next two weeks, culminating in a major announcement on October 9 with full event details including the match schedule, venues, travel packages and more.
